been in the hectic and fast-pace lifestyle in the (mainland),ubin
isthe best place to getaway.Wif almonst untouch natural habitat.(greens
n wild lifes)it's easy to relate toe younger ones too wif visual aids
abt livelihood then. |

place tat i can bring n tell my kids, life can be sometimes happy
here, being simple. |

I
come from New York and it was my first time visiting ubin. I love
the area a lot cos it's rustic, mysterious, a very special untouched
urban 'art' land piece. It'll be great that future generations will
be able to see the transition from rural to urban. It's a shame that
many ppl in s'pore despise this sort of rusticness and associate it
with 'low class'. If it is, then what do u consider the country side
and nature in other places to be? Believe me, urbanism can make u
go crazy! |
Preserve
it, preserve it, preserve it! 'Untouchness' is the only key to everlasting
character and beauty. |

If
education is not enough to tell u that preservation of nature and
heritage is important, why the need to develop ubin? Besides, ubin
don't just belong to the authorities, it belongs to US the ppl of
s'pore, and our future generations.

Ubin
is one of the last outposts of rural life. Nature should be left untouched,
especially with areas like Chek Jawa that has such amazing biodiversity
that scientists are still discovering new things every day. Such places
shld be preserved for the future generations to enjoy and appreciate.

hope that Ubin will be left as it is, untouched by the passage of
time and urban developments. It is the last real "kampung" in concrete
S'pore. Thank you |

The
flora and fauna is unique, it is different even from that in Bukit
Timah. Time comes to a standstill in Ubin. Hidden shrines and quarry
lakes offer surprises. Draginflies literally fly into your face. The
birdsongs are wonderful. |
That
efforts be taken to preserve to wildlife, that the public awareness
of this be raised. |

Ubin
is a place where most Singaporeans will likely find peace there. Costings
are quite similar but the lifestyle there is so different and for
people with hectic lifestyle will learn to relax there |
I
hope that there will be places or shops that will be on rental basis
so that I can open up a small cafe where people and relax while reading
cos not all people go there for cycling. |

totally different environment from the image Singapore portrait and
a peaceful place to be given Singapore's fast pace and growing society. |
Hope
that the community will carried on to stay there forever for the younger
generation to experiece the kampoung life and a relax place for those
stressful people. |
